Rates T&C's

Rates are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of VAT at 15%.
The property reserves the right to amend the quoted rates should there be any change in the VAT rate or the introduction of new taxes, levies, or government-imposed charges applicable after the date of booking.
All levies quoted are subject to change, without prior notice, however, rates quoted for confirmed bookings will be honoured
Minimum 2 night stay required

All bank charges are to be covered by the guest, agent, or operator.

If a refund is paid by Makumu, then the bank charges for the refund will be deducted from the refund payment.
Incorrect quotes or charges to the guest will be covered by the booking agent or operator.

Rates Include

All game viewing activities (morning and afternoon drives - open vehicles with no roof, walking safaris, tracking big game on foot, bird watching) 
All meals, teas, coffees and a selection of local beverages including beers, wines and soft drinks

Entrance fees to the reserve of R320 (if self-driving) - subject to change without prior notice
Additional activities like massages, reptile demonstrations and microlight experiences (more information and prices on request)
Full day exclusive use of the Photographic Bunker / Photographic Safaris. More information and prices on request. 
Klaserie Conservation Levy
Airport transfers (below rates per person per way, min 2 person rate applies):

Transfer Options

Flights: CPT HDS or CPT JHB HDS with Airlink or SA Express
Road transfer from Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport to Makumu Private Game Lodge (about 90 minutes) - see rates above
Self-drive from Johannesburg (about 6 hours)

Payment 

Exclusive-use of whole lodge bookings:
A 25% non-refundable deposit of the total accommodation amount is required to confirm a provisional reservation. Deposit is required upon confirmation of reservation.
The balance/full payment is required 60 days prior to arrival
Any bookings made within 60 days prior to arrival are liable for full payment to cover cancellation fees 

Cancellation Policy 

Exclusive-use of whole lodge bookings: 
90 - 61 days prior to arrival: 50% of full amount 
60 days or less prior to arrival: 100% of full amount
